Bible weather forecasts

Not exactly forecasting as we know it but what is Jesus saying?

Matthew 16:2-3 “But He replied to them, “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’ “And in the morning, ‘There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times?”

Be discerning.

Luke 12:54-55 ” And He was also saying to the crowds, “When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, ‘A shower is coming,’ and so it turns out. “And when you see a south wind blowing, you say, ‘It will be a hot day,’ and it turns out that way.”

Here in verse 56 He tells them to be discerning also from the KJV2000 version Luke 12:56 “You hypocrites, you can discern the appearance of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that you do not discern this time?”

Here are some examples of weather changers:
1 Samuel 12:16-18
“Even now, take your stand and see this great thing which the LORD will do before your eyes. “Is it not the wheat harvest today? I will call to the LORD, that He may send thunder and rain Then you will know and see that your wickedness is great which you have done in the sight of the LORD by asking for yourselves a king.” So Samuel called to the LORD, and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day; and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel.

1 Kings 18:41-45 “Now Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of the roar of a heavy shower.” So Ahab went up to eat and drink. But Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he crouched down on the earth and put his face between his knees. He said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.” So he went up and looked and said, “There is nothing.” And he said, “Go back” seven times.”
James 5:17-18 “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. Then he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced its fruit. ”

Putting it all together. It is important to be discerning.
I can ask God to change the weather and He will if He wills.

One last comment. If I blame God for bad weather i ought to give Him credit for all the good weather. And if it scares me how powerful God is it ought to comfort me that He uses that power to protect and keep me alive until now.
